I just finished watching Friends on Oprah. I downloaded the 8 parts of the episode and I finally got it all today. I just love that show though I never really got to watch it regularly on the local channel. So when pirated DVDs of the series were being sold, I bought them all right away! Yup, I've got all from Seasons 1- 10! Now, whenever I need a laugh, I just pop one into the player. During the interview of Oprah, there were so many emotional moments that I almost got teary eyed (but didn't because my swollen eyelid prevented me from doing so!)
I can't wait to buy their book entitled
Friends Till The End. I even had one reserved in Power Books. I'll really miss those guys! Over the last 10 years, we have grown with them and they have become virtual friends to us. We laughed, cried and laughed some more with them. I'll miss Phoebe's ditsy-ness and Joey's stupidity, Monica's obsession to make everything perfect, Ross's awkwardness and even his being a bore, Chandler's sarcasm and clumsiness and Rachel's feminine wiles. If I had a tv barkada I could hang out with, it would be the group from Friends. It makes you wonder what happens next.
Oprah couldn't have said it any better when she said "It is the end of an era!"

Loved the show too. They rerun it twice a day in our local channels so I didn't bother buying the DVDs. Also the line "Its the end of an era" was the line from the episode where Monica tells Rachel that she needs to move out cause Chandler's moving in...(sniff sniff, tear, tear)
